VALLISNERIA GIGANTEA (GIANT VALLISNERIA)

Description

Vallisneria Americana ‘Gigantea’ is commonly known as Giant Val, Straight Vallisneria, Tape Grass, Jungle Val, Italian Vallisneria or Eelgrass. It’s a perfect background aquarium plant and it prefers good light and a nutrient-rich substrate to grow well. This variety is similar to the original Vallisneria Spiralis but it has a thicker, bigger leaf. The color of the leaf range from red, brown to green depending on the nutrient and light intensity.
