Food: Copeopods, Artemia and Artemia nauplii, Bosmids, Cyclops, frozen food (large varieties), lobster eggs, Mysis shrimp
Special features: Not easy to keep! These fish require several feedings a day at the beginning of their aquarium life, consisting of various small foods such as (live and frozen) brine shrimp, live copepods, cyclops, lobster eggs, etc. Gradually, you can switch to one or two feedings per day with frozen food once the animals have become accustomed to it. However, at least occasional feeding with live food is recommended.
We recommend buying small animals; large/adult specimens are usually very difficult or even impossible to switch to substitute food.
