Attach the Betta Tunnel to the inside of a Bettas habitat to encourage exploration, exercise, and other natural behaviours. Position the Tunnel about an inch under the surface of the water to allow your fish to rest on top as well as inside the tunnel. Multiple tunnels may be used to increase interest or create a fun course for your fish to swim though! Change the tunnels position occasionally to add interest and increase its enrichment value!

What is Enrichment?

Behavioural enrichment is the improvement of animals lives through mental and physical stimulation that increases their natural healthy behaviours. For our beloved Bettas, we can do this by enhancing the environment or by providing species-appropriate challenges, opportunities, and stimulation. Exposure to these items and environmental changes often results in increased activity and performance of natural behaviours.
